THE SETTING:
- Welcome to a bustling county hospital in the wild west where the demand for beds is high. Today, you are faced with a surge of patients flooding in every minute. Your task is to efficiently triage them by reviewing stacks of ECGs provided by your tech.
THE EXERCISE:
- Examine the ECGs presented to you to determine their acuity level. You have the following options:
- Waiting Room: standard triage
- Next Available: priority from the waiting room
- Room Immediately: immediate bed placement
- Code STEMI: initiate cath lab activation
THE MODES:
- Stampede Mode: Engage in a fast-paced session with ten ECGs and limited bed availability.
- Quiz Mode: Assess numerous ECGs at your own pace with answers provided as you progress.
- Random Mode: Test your luck with a random selection of ECGs, potentially encountering critical cases.
